The Phoebe Heart Center was the first hospital in the region to use innovative techniques such as open heart surgery to save lives.

Phoebe has a new addition to its already state-of-the-art Operating Room: The $1.7 million endovascular suite, including technology and construction.

The 750 square-foot suite is used for peripheral vascular intervention procedures. It has improved x-ray quality, state-of-the-art equipment and mobile imaging equipment.

The hybrid suite can be used to do open heart surgeries, if necessary.
