Kind words and thoughts can brighten a friend or loved one's day when they are in the hospital. And because we know how important it is for family and friends to stay in touch when someone is hospitalized, Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital is pleased to offer you the ability to send your well wishes through e-mail to a patient during their stay at our facility.

The process is simple. Go to www.phoebeputney.com and click on the Patient E-mail Services link. Fill in all the necessary information, click on the send button and we’ll take care of it from there. A volunteer will print and deliver the e-mail to your friend or family member as quickly as possible. E-mail will be delivered to patients between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. E-mail received after 2 p.m. Monday through Friday or on a Saturday, Sunday or holiday will be delivered the next business day.

Please note that we do not provide a means for patients to respond to email nor to receive e-mailed photos or attachments. Once a patient has been discharged from the hospital, we will be unable to deliver the message or forward it to their residence. Our apologies for any inconveniences this may create.

Please be aware that, much like sending a postcard through the mail, your e-mail message will be seen by those volunteers and/or hospital employees who print and deliver the messages.
