2014 Daisy Award Winners and Past Recipients

Congratulations to each of our DAISY award recipients. Their incredible commitment to providing exceptional patient care is evidenced in each of their nomination stories listed below.

(EXAMPLE) Betty JoeJoe, RN

During the DAISY recognition event in her honor, Betty JoeJoe was surrounded by her fellow nurses, health care team colleagues and family to recognize and share stories of her dedication and patience during the most difficult of circumstances.

JoeJoe works in the Division of Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) within the Phoebe Cancer Center. She brings out the best in everyone who comes in contact with her at Phoebe, said Jane Doe, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), who works with JoeJoe and submitted her co-worker's nomination.

“She easily brings out strengths in a family that continually faces challenges," Doe wrote. "She helps other members of the medical team see the strengths in the family and creates a goal-focused environment for the doctors and other nurses to get the patient home successfully.”

Please join us in congratulating JoeJoe for earning The DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses.
