Critical Care Unit at Phoebe North Campus
When faced with a severe medical emergency or a life-threatening illness, the North Campus is ready to care for you. Patients in need of intensive monitoring receive state-of-the-art treatment when it matters most.
The Critical Care Unit is a 12-bed unit equipped with advanced medical technology.
CCU Features:
-
Spacious rooms
-
Nurse substations in close proximity to each patient bed
-
Portable computers where nurses chart and administer medication at the bedside
The patient beds in CCU can be positioned in a chair formation. To help fight against respiratory complications, the beds have pulmonary computer chips that keep a constant, gentle bumping motion on the patient’s back which helps increase lung secretions.
