Kate Susanna Tam has been on this earth for a short time but she's already famous. Kate became the first baby born in Sumter County in 2014, entering this world at 2:03 a.m.

Kate weighed in at 6 pounds, 15 ounces and 19 inches long. Her appearance was earlier than expected for parents Jonathan and Rebecca.

“My due date was January 10th, so she was a very pleasant surprise on New Year’s Day,” said Rebecca. “We definitely want to thank Dr. Patricia Fennessy and the OB staff at Phoebe Sumter for helping bring our new bundle of joy into the world.”
