Phoebe Neonatal Medicine

When it matters most, critical life-saving skills and technology are right down the hall from the delivery room.

Babies born prematurely with diseases, birth defects or other significant medical challenges are cared for in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) staffed by three neonatologists (physicians who specialize in treating infants). They are joined by a multi-disciplinary team of experts – all specially trained with a specific role in the care for the critically-ill newborn.

When each second counts and every breath matters, it is reassuring to know that exceptional health care providers are standing by to provide state-of-the-art treatment for every newborn that enters the NICU at Phoebe.

Note: Appointments are by referral only.
